This Position reports to:

Global Payroll Lead:

In this role you will play a key role in shaping and advancing our global payroll operating model. You will drive organizational optimization and establish strong global governance across payroll and time & attendance. Working closely with the Head of Global Payroll and cross-functional stakeholders, you will execute the global payroll strategy by designing and aligning systems, processes, and people to the target operating model. You will also support major strategic initiatives—including technology transformations, outsourcing programs, and mergers and acquisitions—ensuring scalable, efficient, and compliant payroll operations across our global organization.

The role is located within Europe, preferably in Poland or Spain.

Your responsibilities:

  • Global Payroll Transformation Strategy: Define and deliver the global payroll and time & attendance transformation roadmap in partnership with the Head of Global Payroll, aligning systems, processes, and organizational structures with the target operating model and business priorities.

  • Process Design & Operational Excellence: Design and standardize global payroll and time & attendance processes within the broader HR framework, driving efficiency reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and global process governance while allowing for local regulatory requirements.

  • Technology & System Enablement: Collaborate with IT, process owners, and external partners to implement the global payroll outsourcing model, deliver payroll system implementations and enhancements (including Workday), and manage system integrations and change requests.

  • Governance, Controls & Performance Management: Establish global payroll controls, KPIs, and SLA frameworks; centralize payroll error tracking and root-cause analysis; and oversee transformation reporting, benefit realization, and internal program governance.

  • Strategic Projects & Vendor Management: Represent Global Payroll in employee lifecycle initiatives, technology programs, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring activities while managing key payroll vendor relationships, service performance reviews, and benchmarking activities.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar with 6–8+ years of experience in payroll operations, payroll transformation, or related global HR processes.

  • Proven experience managing multi-country payroll system implementations and supporting global payroll operating model transformations.

  • Experience transitioning payroll processes and teams into HR Services or shared services environments.

  • Strong experience with Workday integrations, interfaces, and system enhancements, and familiarity with Service Now or similar platforms.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, high accountability, and strong attention to detail with disciplined execution.

  • Fluency in English, flexibility to work across global time zones, and willingness to travel for workshops and key project milestones.
