This Position reports to:
Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the technical maintenance and facility management aspects of our production site and, as the responsible electrical engineer, will play a central role in ensuring electrical safety. You will ensure high plant availability, stable processes, and safe working conditions, working closely with internal departments and external suppliers. You will actively contribute to shaping structures and processes, make technical decisions, and apply your expertise both strategically and operationally.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Coordination and technical management of maintenance activities, including structuring and prioritizing tasks and implementing them together with internal teams and external partners. You will provide technical support and direct responsibility for a plant electrician and work closely with them on day-to-day operations.

Operational maintenance and facility management, including coordinating maintenance work and troubleshooting, planning overhauls, and managing building services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and energy management.

Electrical safety as a responsible electrical engineer, where you will be responsible for all electrical installations, organize inspections in accordance with DGUV V3, Betr SichV, and VDE standards, conduct risk assessments, and train employees and external service providers.

Coordination of external companies and occupational safety, including monitoring external service providers, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with all occupational safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications for the role

You are proficient in using maintenance management systems such as SAP PM and CMMS, as well as maintenance strategies like TPM and predictive maintenance.

You have several years of professional experience in maintenance or facility management.

You possess sound knowledge of DGUV V3, Betr SichV, and VDE standards, with qualification as a responsible electrical engineer or the willingness to acquire this qualification. Experience in coordinating external contractors is advantageous.

You have completed vocational training as a master electrician, electrical technician, or electrical engineer with a technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

You are fluent in German and English.
