Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a function focused on identifying training needs, developing training programs, and implementing strategies to enhance employee skills and performance within the organization. Work across departments to ensure employees have the required skills and knowledge to perform their assigned tasks. Develop strategies to enhance employees’ skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work. We’re looking for a Training Coordinator who enjoys being close to the operation and understands what really happens on the manufacturing floor. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in training strategy, people development, and hands-on experience working in manufacturing environments.
The work model for the role is: #L-onsite
This role is contributing to the Smart Power division in Monterrey, Mexico. Main stakeholders are Business Leaders and Human Resources.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Assess Training Needs: Identify and evaluate the training needs of employees through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop Training Programs: Create tailored training plans and materials that address specific skill gaps and enhance employee performance.
- Implement Training Initiatives: Deploy various training methods, including workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job training, to effectively deliver content.
- Monitor and Evaluate Effectiveness: Assess the impact of training programs through feedback, performance metrics, and ROI analysis to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage Training Budgets: Oversee the training budget, allocating resources for materials, external vendors, and technology platforms.
- Collaborate with Departments: Work closely with department heads to ensure training initiatives meet the specific needs of different teams.
- Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of the latest training trends and technologies to incorporate innovative practices into training programs.

- Qualifications for the role**- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with**8+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on training and people development.
- 5+ years in leadership or coordination roles, managing teams or training programs.
- Proven experience working in manufacturing environments.
- Strong background in instructional design, skills metrics, and strategic training planning.
- Experience with change management initiatives.
- Knowledge of systems for training hours and reporting. Possess an enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- English: conversational.
