Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as Project Engineer for projects with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will ensure completion of all activities efficiently and cost-effectively in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting continuous improvement of project process/product/system design.
The work model for the role is: hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Electrical department in Czech.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Engineering development
- Ensures that the engineering is developed with complete information (i.e., all multidisciplinary information have been included in the engineering development).
- Evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks for challenges.
- Authorization
- Acts as a design authority for engineering deliverables in all applicable engineering disciplines and completes the corresponding engineering assignments.
- Acts as a technical lead and approves design deliverables.
- Reviews complete project documents for conformity, safety, cybersecurity, and quality assurance requirements.
- Construction support
- Collaborates on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
- Provides technical support to commissioning and start-up activities.
Qualifications for the role
- Works closely with project manager right from the receipt of contract/order till closure to meet the technical requirements of the contract.
- Works with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seeks feedback, and innovates with them to drive and deliver improvements.
- Interacts with officials, contractors, suppliers, and others.
- Oversees the creation of subcontracts and manages the subcontractors, jointly with other involved disciplines including supply chain management.
- Collaborates on project installation, commissioning, and site activities to clarify potential issues or providing solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
