Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products, systems, and services within a designated market, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your sales acumen by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This role is contributing to the Smart Power & Smart Buildings business area in India.Main stakeholders include end customers, consultants, EPCs, system integrators, channel partners, and internal ABB teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Communicating to customers details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.

Ensuring efficient marketing activities and clearly communicating ABB’s value proposition to customers.

Identifying and cultivating the development of new market opportunities in the designated market for Smart Power and Smart Buildings solutions.

Managing administrative procedures in the sales process and supporting cash collection and project management activities when required.
Qualifications for the role:
-
You are highly skilled in solution-based sales and enjoy working with Smart Power and Smart Buildings solutions, including low-voltage systems and building automation, within the buildings and commercial infrastructure segment.

You have 2 years of experience in front end sales or business development within power distribution, building automation, or smart infrastructure domains.

You have established experience working with consultants, EPCs, developers, system integrators, and large enterprise customers.

You possess proficient commercial acumen with direct involvement in pricing, contracts, margin management, and cash collection.

You are engaged in customer engagement, negotiation, and relationship management, with an effective results-oriented mindset.

You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronics / Engineering and MBA or equivalent qualification.

You are proficient in communicating in English; knowledge of regional languages.
