This Position reports to:
Project Manager
Your Role: Own the Challenge
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively.
This role is contributing to ABB's Distribution Solutions Division in Belgium and Luxemburg.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Coordinating all operational activities related to project execution.

Monitoring budgets, including cost control, profitability, and guarantees.

Planning and tracking project timelines to meet deadlines.

Ensuring safety compliance throughout project implementation.

Maintaining close communication with ABB factories and adjusting plans as needed.

Managing project documentation and ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
-
Building effective technical-commercial connections with customers to promote their satisfaction and establish lasting partnerships.

Leading and motivating the project team, including engineers and subcontractors, and overseeing site activities during commissioning.
What it takes to Run what Runs the World
-
Higher technical education in Electrical or Energy Technology.
-
Minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager in electrical engineering, preferably in medium or low voltage.

Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and coordination with vendors or sub-contractors.

Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset with effective verbal and written communication skills.
-
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, both spoken and written.
-
Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
-
Experience in site management.
