This position reports to:

Local Division Manager, Electrification Service

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in the southern areas of The Republic of Ireland.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Plan and drive the overall growth of Service by identifying new business opportunities, as well as fostering relationships with existing clients.

  • Research target accounts & create a strategy to break new business and increase market share.

  • Focus on service contract renewals, upgrades and retrofits of our MV/LV electrification portfolio.

  • Develop our Digital portfolio.

  • Accurate management of your Monthly and Quarterly Sales Forecasts.

  • Deliver sustainable business development and customer satisfaction through involvement in all customer-related matters and drive / escalate resolution of problems to the satisfaction of the customer.

  • Influence and drive decisions on the type of coverage required to support the client base, putting the client interest at the center of all decisions.

Qualifications / Experience for the Role

  • Extensive experience in the market, gained from front end roles

  • Degree or relevant technical qualification preferred but not essential

  • Knowledge of electrical power industry

  • Knowledge of the customer & market segment

  • Knowledge of ABB’s offerings of products and services.
