Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will define and execute business line–specific procurement strategies aligned with the reference organization, taking responsibility for direct and indirect materials as well as services, reporting to the business line and to the supply chain function. You will lead and implement procurement activities and best practices on a global scale, applying your expertise to ensure consistent, effective, and strategically aligned procurement performance throughout the organization.

This role is contributing to the BL Renewable Power globally. Main stakeholders are Operations, Service & Technology.

The ideal candidate is based in Switzerland, Spain or Finland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the global Business Line Supply Chain organization across key hubs (with main locations in Spain, India, China), ensuring strong team direction, capability building, and alignment with business line leadership.

• Defining, implementing, and executing global spend management and sourcing strategies for direct materials and services in line with division strategy, including continuous optimization of sourcing processes and competitive supplier selection.

• Setting and monitoring annual performance targets and scorecards together with the Business Line Manager, covering cost reduction, supplier quality, and on‑time delivery, while driving long‑term planning, monthly performance reviews, and continuous improvement.

• Strengthening global procurement excellence by guiding category teams, supporting supplier negotiations and audits, and fostering cross‑functional and cross‑division collaboration to improve cost, quality, delivery, productivity, and supplier performance.

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Procurement, working as leader in the field of Power Electronics.

• Demonstrated experience in the Power Electronics industry is a must.

• Proven experience of leading a team in Supply Chain, working in R&D projects, and Supply Chain Management for mechanical, electrical and electronic components in the field of Power Electronics.

• Highly skilled in working with SAP, Ariba and Office365 tools.

• Extensive leadership experience, passionate about leading and motivating people to continuously increase their performance and achieve ambitious business goals.

• Solid international experience, preferably in India or China and well accustomed to working in an international team.

• Proactive, strategic mindset with hands-on working style.

• Fluent communication in English is a must and Spanish and/or Chinese will be also an advantage.
