This Position reports to:

Manufacturing Unit Manager:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management in the regional distribution center or local Sales organization. Each day, you will drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory and supply plan.

Main Accountabilities

  • Safety training and coaching to employees and troubleshooting on safety risks to achieve the company safety production targets.
  • Reach all annual targets
  • Employees motivation and competence development
  • Maintains planning bill and generates material plan based on constrained supply plan.
  • Partners with internal customers develop best forecast practices (e.g. implement appropriate forecasting techniques, identify macro-economic factors, review trends and monitor mix shifts amongst product family options, understand changes in demand drivers etc.) thereby improving forecast accuracy.
  • Identifies capacity constraints and recommends both short- and long-term solutions and mitigation plan to remove bottlenecks.
  • Monitors WIP, recommends WIP rationalization initiatives and feeds them into the inventory check book.
  • Identifies key root causes for deviation from the production plan and implements initiatives to improve adherence to plans for the future.
  • Reviews and improve forecast accuracy both at the aggregate and the individual product level by identifying key root causes for forecast errors and implementing initiatives to improve future forecast accuracy.

Qualifications for the role:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Good knowledge of planning and purchasing
  • Basic financial knowledge
  • Quality management knowledge
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills (emergency response ability, flexibility, adaptability)
  • Excellent management skills (team management and coach, communication and coordination ability, cost and quality concept, innovation and breakthroughs, inspire and motivate employees)
  • Professional skills (familiar with the development of the SAP and ERP system.)
  • Minimum 5 years related work experience.
  • A mindset to innovate, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement
