Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective electrification distribtion solution sales strategy within the specified market scope in Thailand and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.

The work model for the role is: #hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solution in Thailand.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Anticipating and identifying the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively.

  • Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources.

  • Planning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.

  • Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.

  • Proven experience in Sales Management, particularly in B2B environments.

  • Ability to design solutions and provide strategic guidance to the team with analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Solid understanding of the electrical field, including utilities, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills to drive high-performing sales teams.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

  • Strong command of English (written and spoken).
