Your role and responsibilities

e Commerce (ABB Shop) is one of the strategic initiatives within the ABB Motion Strategy. Today, ABB Shop supports customers in nearly 30 countries and continues to expand as we further digitalize our global B2B ecosystem. To strengthen this growth, ABB Motion is seeking an Agile IS Project Manager to support the evolution of ABB Shop, which is powered by the Adobe Commerce platform.

In this role, you will work closely with the Product Owner, business stakeholders, IS teams, and external delivery partners. You will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing global delivery processes and release cycles, ensuring that our digital products are developed and deployed efficiently using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Overseeing development, quality assurance and deployment activities within the e Commerce (ABB Shop) service using Agile methodologies – ensuring high‑quality deliverables are produced on time and continuously aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Supporting and enabling development and testing teams by proactively removing impediments, fostering collaboration, and ensuring steady sprint progress and achievement of sprint goals.
  • Coordinating dependencies across integrated applications to ensure consistent alignment and seamless delivery of end‑to‑end solutions involving multiple teams.
  • Driving Agile ways of working by coaching teams and stakeholders, promoting adherence to Agile principles, and continuously improving understanding and adoption of Agile best practices.
  • Leading and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement, ensuring effective communication and continuous improvement.
  • Tracking and analyzing delivery metrics to measure team performance, identify bottlenecks, and guide process optimizations that reduce time‑to‑market and strengthen customer feedback loops.
  • Collaborating closely with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to maintain a well‑refined Product Backlog, ensuring clear prioritization and transparent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Managing release planning and coordinating with operations teams to ensure smooth deployments, minimize business disruption, and align with global delivery timelines.
    Qualifications for the role- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fluent English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of successful project management in complex environments
  • Result‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to build and nurture strong teams, fostering collaboration and a positive working environment
  • Solid analytical skills and the ability to understand and navigate complex IS landscapes
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle
  • Hands‑on experience working in Agile environments
  • Experience in enterprise‑scale organizations, across multiple countries or business units
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual, cross‑cultural, and cross‑time‑zone teams
  • Solid understanding of quality assurance practices and test management approaches
  • Strong negotiation and consensus‑building skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with e Commerce platforms and experience in B2B e Commerce projects are significant advantages
  • Relevant project management certifications are a plus
