Your Role and Responsibilities

  • You will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will lead the execution of supplier assessments, driving both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. You will manage the supplier's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

  • Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.

  • Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.

  • Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.

  • Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Master's degree in Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation.

  • You have up to 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality roles within similar environments.

  • You are proficient in Excel; knowledge of Power BI and SAP QM is considered a plus.

  • You demonstrate strong teamwork and negotiation skills, take ownership, drive improvements, and are goal-oriented.

  • You are comfortable communicating in both Italian and English, written and spoken.

  • You are willing to travel up to 50% of the time throughout the year.
