Service Sales Manager:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in conjunction with the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology. Each day, you will determine costs, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions.

This role is contributing to the Robotics and Discrete Automation Business based at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.

  • Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.

  • Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization.

  • Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with both internal teams and external customers.

  • Proactive and service-oriented, with a strong willingness to learn and support customer requirements.

  • Capable of managing multiple priorities, maintaining attention to detail, and performing effectively in fast-paced environments.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and open to learning systems like SFDC or ERP.

  • Collaborative team player who shows initiative, embraces feedback, and is committed to continuous improvement.
