CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contributing to ensuring compliance with reporting and accounting guidelines, ABB group policies and local instructions (where applicable) and internal control as well as external regulatory requirements
• Handle complex accounting and reporting issues, facilitates resolutions incl account reconciliations and fixing process gaps, processes accounting and reporting transactions,
• Perform R2R internal control activities remaining in retained finance org (e.g. Business-Process Ownership (BPO) for R2R, process walkthroughs)
• Ensuring the consistency of SAF‑T reporting and Statistical returns (GUS, NBP)
• Maintaining continuous communication with Hubs and businesses to collaborate on project implementation and progress (legal, country specific, IS, global policies)
• Provide local R2R support for M&A projects and divestments
• Coordinating with other stakeholders (e.g. procurement, treasury, tax, legal, statutory) to align priorities, issue resolution, compliance

• Implements and ensure compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, regulatory requirements and processes in their assigned area.

COLLABORATION / LEADERSHIP

• Drives effective communication and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, including internal teams and supplier contacts to solve billing and payment issues.
• Remaining in contact with key business stakeholders with the needs of businesses
• Aligning with local and Group Finance stakeholders (e.g. Group Finance Process Owners, P2P, O2C and R2R business partners, etc.) on common topics

Your background

• Minimum of 5 years of operational experience and 3+ years of experience in the fields of Finance Share Servcies, Finance Project Management or equivalent work experience
• Good knowledge of Polish Accounting and Finance requirements and relevant processes
• Fluency in Polish and English
• Proven experience working in cross functional organization and projects
• Strong business acumen, relationship building, interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Displaying strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking skills
