This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving sustainability performance in your assigned area of responsibility. Each day, you will support the implementation of the group-wide sustainability strategy and business-specific priorities by applying in-depth knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within your own unit and across ABB.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the in Ostrava.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Represent the division in Material Compliance governance forums
- Support on developing and maintaining procedures and guidelines
- Verify delivery products compliance with regulations
- Prepare compliance documentation
- Monitor suppliers’ Material Compliance capabilities
- Prepare and distribute reports
- Support collecting missing information from division and suppliers
- Support on enhancing and sustaining organizational awareness of Material Compliance
- Assist with Material Compliance communication for customers and authorities
Qualifications for the role
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Ability to manage and understand complexity
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Understanding of material compliance regulations, such as REACH, RoHS, and IHM
- Ability to communicate and present
- Ability to conceptualize issues and establish new procedures
- Ability to manage change
- Ability to develop others
- Auditing skills
- Tool skills: MS Office, MS Share point, MS Visio
- Ability to solve problems
