Your role and tasks

We are looking for a skilled colleague to help ABB improve and develop future solutions — and ensure we play a direct role in the global energy transition. ABB is one of the world’s leading companies within electrification. Our technologies power everything from power plants and train stations to hospitals, EV chargers, and other essential infrastructure. Staying ahead requires not only advanced technology but also accurate Master Data — and that’s where you will play a key role.

You will join a team of ten experienced colleagues and act as the link between IT and the business. Your focus will be the local implementation and adaptation of global SAP solutions, along with developing and optimizing Master Data and supporting the business in daily operations. Your work will have a visible, positive impact across ABB and on our performance.

In the near term, you will primarily work in our regional SAP ECC 6.0 system, run together with ABB Sweden. Over time, you will contribute to our transition toward new global SAP S/4HANA systems. ABB already operates global S/4HANA-based platforms for finance (CFIN) and Master Data governance (MDG), both integrated with our local SAP landscape.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and optimizing SAP Master Data across ABB systems
• Supporting the existing SAP ERP system (ECC 6.0)
• Acting as the local representative in the implementation of new global SAP S/4HANA systems
• Leading the Super User Forum (Material Management, customer/vendor Master Data) with representatives from the business.
• Preparing requirement specifications for developers and programmers
• Reviewing developer solutions, performing testing and optimization, implementing changes, and ensuring follow-up
• Supporting Master Data processes in relation to global systems (MDG and CFIN)
• Bringing new knowledge and insights into the team

Qualifications for the role

• A relevant higher education that provides a solid analytical foundation
• Several years of experience in a similar role
• IT-oriented experience with Master Data in a larger organization
• Solid technical understanding and motivation to develop your skills within the SAP landscape
• A service-minded, open, and supportive approach
• Motivation to collaborate with many different stakeholders and be an engaged collaborator
• Clear and effective communication, both spoken and written, in Danish and English
