This Position reports to:

Senior Engineering Manager:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform low to medium complex service tasks including programming, testing, installation & commissioning of Automaton system (DCS/PLC) for Energy Industry. You will be involved in engineering of Automation system & field instruments.

The work model for the role is

This role is contributing to Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• ⁠Evaluate, select and applies standard techniques and procedures to perform Engineering assignments in projects.
• Assists in preparing proposal/presentation of service engineering projects/programs.
• Identify customer (internal or external) requirements, analyze and document as-is process and process interfaces, discover process gaps, design to-be integration in collaboration with business resources.
• Creates work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time and within the targeted cost.
• Completes risk and opportunity assessments and ensures implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility.
• Provides technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with business & other IT teams to deliver solutions within timeline
• Assist customer and technical issues, interact with official contracts.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & communications
• 2-6 years’ experience in Process Automation, especially in the field of Oil & Gas / Refineries / Petrochemicals
• Experience on DCS- Retrofits, Upgrades, Service and Commissioning.
• Knowledge in the system installation, integration of servers and client computers in virtual environment, windows Administration.
• Experience in Virtualization concepts, ESXi Setup, Raid configuration and VMware Configuration.
• Working knowledge on Managed switches, Routers and Firewalls.
• Knowledge in designing System and Network Hardening and develop Cyber security designs
• Experience in configuring Mac Afee epo, WSUS.
• Working knowledge on Domain configuration and Active directory configuration for larger systems includes defining group policies..
