The state-of-the-art multi-purpose manufacturing facility is crafted for large-scale production of biologics and has high expansion potential. After completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated USPManufacturing Operator to join our Drug Substance Manufacturing team in Lengnau. In this role, you will support the production of recombinant products by operating advanced automated equipment while contributing to the implementation of new production lines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in delivering life-saving biologics, executing manufacturing activities in USP using advanced automated systems

  • Work hands-on with cutting-edge Single Use Technology (SUT), including wave bioreactors (10L–50L) and large-scale bioreactors up to 5000L

  • Perform critical process steps such as vial thaw, seed inoculation, centrifugation, depth filtration, and harvesting

  • Take ownership of SOPs and work instructions, ensuring smooth and reliable operations

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and Manufacturing Excellence initiatives

  • Be part of exciting new product introductions and technology transfers

  • Support the launch of new production lines, including qualification and validation activities

  • Uphold the highest GMP and safety standards, ensuring quality in everything you do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and operational success

  • Work in a dynamic shift environment, including weekends, as part of a highly committed team

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations in a GMP environment

  • Initial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required

  • Strong willingness to learn and grow

  • Proactive, hands-on “can-do” attitude

  • Ability to work in a regulated, fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills

  • Fluent in English or German

Additional Information

  • This role operates on a shift rotation model, including weekends and public holidays

  • Participation in on-call duties may be required
