$20,000 sign on bonus

Two 10 Hour Day Shifts:

Wed: 6:30am-5pm
Fri: 7am-5:30pm

Additional hours available in diagnostic CT for certified applicants interested in additional shifts

Starting/new grad rate: $41.74

Job Summary:

-Responsible for providing quality patient care while producing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures safely while operating Nuclear Medicine and CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.-Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
-Essential Functions: Scan patients properly, using correct selection of technical factors, fully understanding the physics of nuclear medicine in order to operate the equipment at its most optimal settings for quality procedures.
-Prepares patients for procedures which may include transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and position patients.
-Explains procedures to patients taking into consideration physical and emotional needs.
-Records images as directed for radiologist interpretation.
-Maintains pertinent records.
-Maintain required documentation regarding radioactive materials, both upon receipt and prior to administration.

Qualifications:

Performs Exams in both PET/CT and Nuclear Cardiology Departments

Associate's Degree Diagnostic Imaging required:

Licenses and Credentials:

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist CNMT/ARRT-N Certification - required within 90 days

  • Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine
  • State License - required

Basic Life Support BLS Certification - required within 90 days

Experience:

Nuclear Medicine Tech experience with multiple patient populations 1-2 years preferred
