As an Analyst or Associate in the Global Credit Exotics Trading team, you will trade and risk manage non-flow products and solutions within the credit asset class, including cross-asset structures relating to equities, rates, and commodities. You will engage with a diverse client base—including banks, distributors, insurers, corporates, asset managers, and hedge funds, positioning you at the forefront of innovative credit trading.

Job responsibilities

  • Price, execute, and risk manage the trading book with precision and strategic insight
  • Focus on systematic and quantitative trading strategies, in addition to credit and cross-asset correlation
  • Generate well-thought, relevant, and topical investment and trade ideas in the quantitative trading space
  • Drive the agenda for developing innovative products and solutions in partnership with structuring and sales teams
  • Engage actively with internal and external stakeholders to provide tailored content and solutions that meet client needs

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Previous experience in credit/fixed income or an exotics/quantitative/systematic role
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with systematic products or quantitative trading
  • Familiarity with quantitative modeling and pricing methodologies
  • Proven track record of generating innovative trade ideas and client solutions

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
