Brazil Payments Technology - Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain existing ones for regional applications.
• Participate in projects and provide production support.
• Solve technical problems and propose effective solutions.
• Write secure, high-quality code; review and debug code written by others.
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions using AWS and Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
• Experience creating and maintaining global financial systems with low tolerance for failures, high performance, resilience, and security.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services.
• Cloud experience on AWS (including serverless components) and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Proficiency in programming languages.
• Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Spring Framework, Oracle database, Linux OS, REST APIs, and automated testing.
• Experience working in development teams using agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and proactiveness.
• Fluent in English.
