Data Quality & Data Governance Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Data Quality & Data Governance Consultant with strong expertise in Informatica MDM to support enterprise master data, governance, and quality initiatives. The role focuses on establishing data governance frameworks, implementing data quality rules, and ensuring trusted master data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance

Implement and support Data Governance frameworks aligned with business and regulatory requirements
Define and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures
Work with business stakeholders to identify critical data elements (CDEs) and data ownership models
Support data stewardship processes, governance councils, and approval workflows
Assist with metadata management, data lineage, and impact analysis

Data Quality

Define, implement, and monitor data quality rules (accuracy, completeness, consistency, uniqueness, timeliness)
Analyze data quality issues and collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve root causes
Establish data quality scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs
Support continuous data quality monitoring and reporting
Participate in audits and compliance activities related to data quality

5+ years of experience in Data Quality and Data Governance
Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (Hub, IDD awareness)
Strong understanding of:

Master Data Management (MDM) concepts
Match & merge, survivorship, hierarchies

Experience defining and managing data quality rules and metrics

Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL:

Experience working with enterprise data platforms
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
