DataStage Developer

We are seeking an experienced IBM Info Sphere Data Stage Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Data Stage, solid SQL skills, and a deep understanding of data warehousing and data integration best practices across complex environments.

• A day in the life of an Infoscion

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM Info Sphere Data Stage
  Develop Parallel, Server, and Sequence jobs to support data integration requirements
  Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple heterogeneous data sources
  Optimize Data Stage jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability
  Handle job scheduling, monitoring, failure analysis, and recovery
  Implement data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms
  Work with large datasets and complex data transformations
  Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements
  Support production deployments, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
  Document ETL designs, job logic, and operational procedures

  5–9 years of overall experience in ETL / data integration development
  Strong hands-on experience with IBM Info Sphere Data Stage
  Proficient in developing Parallel Jobs, Server Jobs, and Sequences
  Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL architecture
  Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.)
  Experience with UNIX/Linux environment and shell scripting
  Hands-on experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
  Knowledge of batch scheduling and production support processes
  Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills

Experience with Data Stage Quality Stage or other IBM Information Server components
Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Knowledge of migration from Data Stage to cloud ETL tools
