About the role
We are seeking a skilled Collibra Administrator with 5+ years of experience in managing and supporting Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud / Collibra Data Governance Center. The role focuses on platform administration, configuration, upgrades, user management, and supporting enterprise data governance, data catalog, and data quality initiatives.
Administer, configure, and maintain the Collibra platform (Data Governance, Data Catalog, Data Quality, Workflow)
Manage user access, roles, permissions, and responsibilities across domains and communities
Configure and maintain business glossaries, operating models, assets, relationships, and metadata
Design, implement, and support Collibra workflows using BPMN
Monitor platform performance, availability, and system health
Perform platform upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
Support metadata ingestion from various data sources using Collibra integrations and APIs
Collaborate with data owners, stewards, governance teams, and IT stakeholders
Troubleshoot Collibra-related issues including UI, workflows, integrations, and performance
Support integrations with tools such as data warehouses, BI tools, ETL tools, and source systems
Maintain documentation, governance standards, and operational runbooks
Ensure platform usage aligns with enterprise data governance, compliance, and security policies
Collibra certification (e.g., Collibra Ranger, Guardian, or Expert)
Experience with Collibra Data Quality & Observability:
Exposure to data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Big Query, or Redshift
Scripting experience (Python, Shell)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models
Experience working in regulated data environments (GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, etc.)
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Collibra Administrator
Strong working knowledge of:
Collibra Data Governance Center:
Collibra Data Catalog:
Collibra Workflow (BPMN)
Experience with user management, role-based access control (RBAC), and domain configuration
Solid understanding of data governance, data lineage, metadata management, and stewardship concepts
Experience with Collibra integrations and APIs:
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Experience supporting enterprise-scale Collibra implementations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
