• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.

• Architect and implement robust database schemas, queries, and data access layers for high performance and reliability.

• Build, integrate, and optimize APIs for internal and external consumers, ensuring security, versioning, and backward compatibility.

• Write clean, modular, and testable code, following coding standards, code reviews, and best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues, driving root cause analysis and long-term fixes.

• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Implement performance tuning, caching strategies, and monitoring for Node.js services and database operations.

• Ensure application security, including authentication, authorization, and secure data handling in APIs and databases.

• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical design documents, and roadmap discussions for backend and API ecosystem.

• Mentor junior developers, share knowledge, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (BE, BTECH, ME, MTECH, MSc, BSc, BCA, MCA).

• 5–8 years of professional experience in backend development with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js.

• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs or similar service-oriented architectures.

• Solid experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and standard development workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews).

• Ability to analyze requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.
