GCP Admin

We are seeking an experienced GCP Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing, monitoring, and optimizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, performance, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure while supporting development and operations teams.

Administer and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, including compute, storage, networking, and services
Configure and manage GCE, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Big Query, and VPC
Implement and manage IAM roles, service accounts, and security policies
Monitor system performance, availability, and costs using Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Billing
Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform / Deployment Manager
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best practices
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
Support application deployments and CI/CD pipelines
Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams
Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

5+ years of experience as a GCP Administrator or Cloud Administrator
Strong hands-on experience with:

Google Compute Engine (GCE)
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Big Query
VPC, Load Balancers, Cloud DNS

Experience with IAM, security best practices, and networking concepts
Proficiency in Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience with Linux administration
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, etc.)
Experience in monitoring, alerting, and logging
Understanding of HA, DR, scalability, and fault tolerance

Professional Cloud Architect:

Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes internals
Scripting experience (Bash, Python)
Exposure to compliance standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR)
