Snowflake Admin

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing, administering, and optimizing Snowflake Data Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for platform stability, performance tuning, security, cost optimization, and operational support of Snowflake across multiple environments.

Snowflake Administration & Operations:

Administer and manage Snowflake environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod)
Configure and manage virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, and resource monitors
Monitor system performance, query execution, and warehouse utilization
Participate in Snowflake account setup, configuration, and upgrades

Security & Access Management:

Manage users, roles, privileges, and role hierarchy
Implement role-based access control (RBAC)
Integrate Snowflake with SSO / Azure AD / Okta

5+ years of experience as a Snowflake Administrator
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud
Deep understanding of:

Snowflake architecture
Virtual warehouses
Micro-partitions

Time Travel and Fail-safe:

Experience with SQL performance tuning
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Experience with Linux/Unix environments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

Experience with Snowflake replication and failover
Exposure to Snowflake data sharing

Automation using Python or PowerShell:

Experience integrating Snowflake with ETL tools (Informatica, ADF, Airflow)
Snowflake Certification (Snow Pro Core / Advanced)
Experience with ITSM tools (Service Now, Remedy)
