
IBM Content Manager Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain solutions using IBM Content Manager aligned to enterprise content management requirements.

Implement content models, document classes, metadata strategies, access controls, and retention concepts to meet business and compliance needs.

Develop and enhance integrations between IBM Content Manager and upstream/downstream applications using appropriate APIs and connectors.

Perform requirement analysis, prepare technical designs, and estimate development effort for ECM initiatives.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes with minimal business disruption.

Optimize system performance through tuning, indexing strategies, and efficient query/content retrieval patterns.

Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.

Collaborate with QA and business teams to define test scenarios, support UAT, and ensure high-quality releases.

Support release management activities including build packaging, deployment coordination, and post-release validation.
Minimum Qualifications:

B.Tech or equivalent bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5–9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on development experience in IBM Content Manager.

Solid understanding of ECM concepts including content lifecycle, metadata, security, and governance.

Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and supporting enterprise applications in production environments.

Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing end-to-end ECM solutions including content modeling, integration patterns, and operational support processes.

Exposure to IBM Content Manager administration concepts, environment configuration, and performance tuning practices.

Experience working in Agile delivery models with strong ownership of sprint commitments and deliverables.

Proven ability to lead technical discussions, review designs/code, and mentor team members on IBM Content Manager best practices.

Familiarity with enterprise security practices (role-based access, auditing) and documentation standards for regulated environments.
