Job Summary
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Architect – PKI & Crypto Inventory L2 to join our technology team in India. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions and cryptographic inventory systems at Level 2 (L2) support and architecture. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring robust security controls, compliance, and operational excellence in cryptographic asset management. Key Responsibilities Design and architect scalable and secure PKI solutions to meet organizational and regulatory requirements. Oversee the lifecycle management of digital certificates, cryptographic keys, and related assets across the enterprise. Lead the implementation and maintenance of crypto inventory systems, ensuring up-to-date records and compliance with security standards. Provide Level 2 (L2) technical support for PKI and cryptographic inventory systems, including incident response and troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PKI and crypto inventory solutions with business applications and IT infrastructure. Establish and enforce best practices for cryptographic key management, certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation. Conduct periodic risk assessments, audits, and reviews of cryptographic assets and processes. Develop and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and architecture diagrams. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to PKI and cryptography. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in PKI architecture, cryptography, or information security roles. Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols, certificate authorities, HSMs, and key management systems. Hands-on experience with PKI platforms (e.g., Microsoft CA, Venafi, Digi Cert, Entrust) and cryptographic inventory tools. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX) as they relate to cryptography. Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for certificate and key management tasks. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or specialized PKI/cryptography credentials. Experience in large-scale enterprise environments or financial services. Familiarity with cloud-based PKI solutions and cloud security practices. Knowledge of DevOps practices and integration of PKI with CI/CD pipelines.
